In a chipper, approachable tone, write an article of about 400 words in the style of a magazine such as Scientific American summarizing the attached article for a general audience. Target a reading level around 12th grade and do not assume too much technical knowledge from the reader. Do not use any titles, headings, or bullet points. Only write in prose, in paragraphs. The first paragraph should contain a hook to attract the reader’s interest and explain the top highlights. The second paragraph should be one sentence: “The findings appear in the journal [journal name] [DOI link]”. Remaining paragraphs should explain any appropriate particulars and details of the research that a general audience might be interested in. Conclude with an analysis of future implications or appropriate calls to action, especially if the topic might intersect with the daily experiences of some members of the general audience.
